My background

Somewhat eclectic. I spent a number of years in an organisational and administrative capacity, working closely with CEOs in Training and Development, Human Resources, Public Relations, a charity, health, and agricultural journalism. I enjoyed a reputation for being resourceful, thorough and inventive, with a flair for the design and implementation of publicity material.

Then followed a period as a housewife and wicked stepmother; plantswoman and garden designer; successful dog breeder, exhibitor and judge; committee person; public speaker and published author. Frequently and irritatingly referred to as a “lady of leisure”, the reality was that I wondered how I had ever found the time to go out to work!

A life-changing moment came with a waking thought one morning - literally! - that “there must be more to life than this”, which led to some major changes and ultimately a new direction. Result was I tottered off on my journey down the path of personal and spiritual development, fell into the hedge a few times, and emerged with a strong desire to dedicate my life skills to best use in empowering others. You could call it a calling.

I am certificated in Life Coaching, and Reiki at Master Teacher level, and carry full professional indemnity insurance. Other relevant courses include the 7307 Teacher Training Stage 2, Transactional Analysis, Transpersonal Psychology, Counselling, Stress Management, Assertive Communication and Time Management.

In the “Now”

At my best – and most fulfilled - when drawing on my natural gifts, talents and strengths to support the human aspirations and potential in my clients.

In “me time” I enjoy drumming, cooking, listening to music – from “New Age” relaxation to classical to 70s Rock, - interior design and decoration, reading, good television documentaries, walking in the countryside with my beloved Border Terrier Roly, observing wildlife, and discovering new skills in tricking my PC into doing things MY WAY!
